Join me for a wonderful Women’s Wisdom Retreat at Villa Pipistrelli
Summer of 2022 seems a long way off, but it’s just the right amount of time to prepare yourself for this adventure. In the coming months I’ll be sending out information and resources to enrich your journey, whether you attend in person, or in your dreams.
We’ll gather: I will schedule in-person and/or virtual meetings that will allow us to get to know each other prior to the retreat, including an Italian dinner at La Grolla in St Paul. (http://www.lagrollastpaul.com/)
Early Registration began June 2021
Initial Deposit is $500 to hold your place
Two additional installments of $750 may be due November 2021 and March 2022

Two houses have total of 7 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms

Breakfast will be prepared for us each day!
We will prepare other meals in the Pipistrelli kitchen
Recipes and ingredients will be provided
One group dinner (Pizza Night) Thursday evening
Participants will sign up for shared meal preparation or clean-up duties
Free Time!
Quiet time each day after lunch and after dinner
Free time all day Wednesday for participants to explore Siena, Florence, take a winery tour or cooking class, or just relax by the pool
Travel (flights and ground transport)
You are responsible for your own flight and ground transport arrangements.
Guests flying from the Twin Cities to Rome may choose to travel together and share ground transport costs.
Arrive Rome on the morning of June 4th
Rent a car at the airport OR take the bus from Rome to Siena (2.5 hr.), then take a taxi to Montestigliano (timewise, the bus is about the same as driving. The bus is generally faster and more scenic than the train, and about $30 each way)
Attendees in the past have added days before or after the retreat to further explore Italy
Return to Rome on June 11th for your return flight (or stay one+ nights in Rome before flying home)
The group will have the opportunity to discuss and share travel plans, should anyone want to find a couple adventure pals.

Property Description
*Montestigliano is an Agriturismo; a working farm and tourist accommodation. It’s a charming hamlet of self-contained 18th century Italian villas, located on a hilltop. All of the villas have been carefully restored, tastefully furnished and each has its own unique charm and character, maintaining many of the original features common to Tuscan architecture. Each unit is independent, Wi-Fi -enabled and fully equipped with its own kitchen, living room, bedrooms & bathrooms.
*Villa Pipistrelli: This magnificent Tuscan farmhouse is situated in the beautiful woodlands of the Siena hills, high on the crest of the estate of Montestigliano. It boasts an extensive private garden, swimming pool and courtyard with traditional pizza oven for rustic dinners under the stars. The villa complex, including the adjoining annex, La Capanna, sleeps up to 14 guests with seven bedrooms and seven bathrooms.
