Coaching and Consulting Expertise

Beata began her professional coaching practice in 2002. She received her coach training and certification from the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara, CA, and from the Center for Third Age Leadership. She is qualified to administer the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Emotional Intelligence Profile (EQ) and the Pearson-Marr Archetype Indicator (PMAI).
She has worked successfully with a diverse list of clients, including individuals, groups and teams. Her clients include corporate professionals, those working in medicine, law and the ministry, and those seeking to find life’s deeper meaning. Working with Beata, you will explore and create an exciting vision of the future, based on a foundation of core values, gifts, dreams, passions and purpose.
Prior to starting her private practice, Beata worked for two years as a consultant to WomenVenture, a non-profit economic development agency in St. Paul, MN. She provided coaching and career consulting services to WomenVenture clients, and taught classes and workshops for WomenVenture. She also worked to develop new classes and class materials in the area of life planning and career development.

Corporate Experience
|
|
Beata has 24 years experience in Corporate Consumer Research and Management at General Mills, with extensive background in new product development. Her favorite work was in strategic planning and creative problem solving. At the management level, Beata worked to develop both the business and her direct reports. In many ways, coaching is analogous to strategic planning and creative problem solving.

Beata has been featured several times in the Minneapolis-St. Paul Magazine, and was quoted by Matt Krumrie in the Minneapolis Star Tribune, in an article about self-esteem in the workplace. She was also featured with one of her WomenVenture clients in a human-interest story on UPN9 with Chris Conangla.

Beata has a BA in Business and Liberal Arts and a Masters’ Degree in Human Development from St. Mary’s University of MN. She received her coach training from the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara, CA and from the Center for the Third Age Leadership. She is associated with the Minnesota Coaches Association (MCA), the International Coach Federation (ICF) and the Association for Psychological Type (APT). Beata is a member of the Purpose Guild, Minnesota Women in Networking, and Twin Cities Women in Consulting.
